Why scarifying is essential for your lawn
Over time, a layer of dead grass clippings, roots, and moss—also known as thatch or debris layer—builds up on top of the lawn. This compact layer prevents water, air, and fertilizers from reaching the turf. Scarifying breaks up and removes this layer, giving your lawn air and helping it recover faster. Most lawns benefit from two scarifying treatments per year—ideally in spring and autumn.
Two rotors for every type of lawn care
The scarifier comes with two interchangeable rotors, each designed for a specific application. The steel spring rotor with 24 tines is ideal for gently removing moss and thatch on the surface, while the scarifying rotor with 18 solid tines penetrates deeper into the soil for a more thorough treatment. With a single-point height adjustment, you can quickly set the working depth from +10 mm above to 15 mm below the ground level.
