Intelligent Spray Application® (I.S.A.) / crop detection sensors
The latest H.S.S. machines are equipped with ISA, a patented system that scans leaf mass in real-time. Sensors and cameras detect gaps in the crop. When no leaves are detected, the nozzles automatically shut off. As soon as leaves are observed again, they turn back on.
Result?
Spraying occurs only where it is needed. In practice, this results in a saving of about twenty percent of crop protection products per season, higher deposition, and much more precise application.
Additionally, overdosing at the beginning and end of the row is avoided and the tank needs to be refilled less often. The impact on drift reduction and your wallet is significant.

Maximum drift reduction and optimal coverage
In addition to ISA, air distribution also plays a crucial role. The H.S.S. Cross Flow system ensures an even distribution of air throughout the entire crop, both horizontally and vertically. This results in homogeneous coverage of the crop and minimizes drift.
Unlike traditional systems, which spray continuously regardless of crop density, H.S.S. fully adjusts the output to the actual conditions in the orchard. That’s the difference between simply treating and working with precision.
Built for practice
H.S.S. orchard sprayers are developed based on years of experience and in close collaboration with fruit growers. The machines require little maintenance, are easy to use, and are built from durable components.
All metal parts are galvanized and the machines are equipped with a low-noise fan. Thanks to the extensive filtration system, including a large suction filter and a self-cleaning pressure filter, clogged nozzles are a thing of the past.
The machines are available in various configurations, with tank sizes ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 liters and versions for one, two, or three rows. Each machine can be adapted to the specific situation of the orchard.
