The Intelligent Spray Application (ISA) by H.S.S. Hol Spraying Systems significantly boosts the performance of the H.S.S. CF-series orchard sprayers.
Thanks to multiple detection sensors on the spray mast, the leaf mass is continuously and in real time scanned. When open spaces in the crop of more than 10 centimeters are detected, the spray nozzles automatically switch off. As soon as leaves are detected again, the nozzles are reactivated.
This technology ensures that spraying only occurs where it is needed, leading to more efficient use of crop protection products and a significant reduction in drift.
Additionally, the sensors collect valuable data about the orchard. For example, tree shape and height can be automatically recorded. Combined with GPS, the vigor of the plantation can also be visualized.
This data forms the basis for precision applications, such as creating task maps for growth regulation or fertilization. This way, the orchard sprayer evolves from an executive machine into an essential part of a data-driven cultivation strategy.
