HEN WEGENFREES WPF 200

Maintaining semi-paved roads and cycle paths, field roads, shell paths and other semi-paved surfaces is often labor-intensive. To fill washouts, ruts and holes, new material is generally applied (very high transport and material costs) and leveled with a grader. However, this working method creates little or no bonding between the original top layer and the newly applied material. To achieve good adhesion, it is necessary to loosen the top layer, mix it well and not reduce the particle size.

The HEN WPF 200 achieves this in a single pass. The milling machine is continuously adjustable in depth and rotates against the direction of travel, causing the material to be picked up. Thanks to special picks and their arrangement on the rotor, the particle size is not reduced and the material is deposited in such a way that the road surface can be laid to profile. A built-in grading blade distributes the material evenly. The built-in hydraulically driven vibrating plates compact the ground so effectively that the road can be used again immediately by bicycle and/or car. Optimal curing is achieved within a few days, depending on weather conditions.

Refurbishing field roads in a single pass – this is how it works...

• For attachment to tractors from 120 hp
• Maintenance of (semi-)paved surfaces with a particle size of 0 to 60 mm
• The damaged wearing course is milled loose; rotor rotates against the direction of travel
• Material is mixed and deposited, coarse material at the bottom covered with a top layer of finer material
• A built-in leveling blade smooths the surface and fills holes
• Two split hydraulically driven plates compact the new profile
• Rotor speed approx. 250 rpm
• The particle size is not reduced
• Working depth continuously adjusted via a hydraulic top link
• Working depth up to approx. 12 cm, working width 200 cm

In the news: the magazine De Loonwerker also recognizes the benefits of a HEN road milling machine

"The HEN road milling machines offer an environmentally friendly and cost-saving solution:

Reuse of existing materials, fewer transport movements.

Better water drainage, preventing erosion and puddle formation.

Low maintenance costs thanks to wear-resistant milling teeth.

Lower CO₂ emissions by reducing soil transport."
