Patents prove innovation
Güttler holds an enormous number of patents for all the innovative machines they invent and develop. An example of this is the tine harrow seeder. This machine was designed after the success of the well-known prismatic roller that presses the seed into the soil. The principle of the Güttler tine harrow seeder is that each tine has a seed tube at the rear, which delivers the seed all the way to the ground and distributes it evenly. Tine harrow seeding is therefore a combination of row seeding and broadcast seeding, resulting in a higher yield than sowing only in rows. With tine harrow seeding, longer grass can also be overseeded. This prevents the seeds from sticking to wet or long grass. The overseeding period can thus be extended considerably. The system is also not sensitive to wind. This makes overseeding even more successful. The system can also be used to sow green manure or other crops.
